My friend showed me this bar last summer! It’s hard to find because you have to walk through an alley to get there. Great drinks at a fair price.

visited near twelve, it was not full. had a sister come into town and asked me to take her here again. it has a good interior. mood here reminds me of san diego's scene.

Service is always timely even when they have a full house. The place has a nice atmosphere.

The entrance is really groovy, but other than that it's just a normal bar with food from Sampan. It's usually WAY too crowded to get a drink, so basically lots of people walk in, take a look, and then immediately walk out without ordering anything lol

Cheap drinks and food. Good casual place for a group. They have happy hour everyday. It does get crowded.

The cocktails are nice, but I just don't enjoy being in such a dark, cramped space for the aesthetic of one mural

Went for Saturday happy hour. Nice place and the servers and attentive and friendly, but the drinks were ridiculously watered down. The ming mule and okinawa summer was all juice/mixers and of course plenty of ice. In the picture you can see just how much of the fishbowl is the actual drink and the rest is ice (bartender added ton of ice, little bit of one more ingredient and then more ice). Not worth it. Same happy hour drink/food menu as Sampan, since it is in the restaurant’s backyard. Veg dumplings were so good!!

Always fun! If you've never been, you'll love your 1st trip down the "back alley." One of the bartenders, Chris, is especially great. The food is amaze...shared kitchen with Sampan. Check it out if you're on 13th. Won't be sorry!!

Small and cramped. Seating is pretty poor. It was raining so if you stood near any of the outer edges you'd get wet. Roasted brussel sprouts were pretty good. Drinks on the high side unless you drink beer.
